Obituary of Robert Cochrane

Robert Edward “Bob” Cochrane, 67, of 303 W. 5th St. Jamestown, NY, passed away on March 16, 2022, from natural causes. Bob was born on May 29th, 1954 in Ellington, NY, The son of Edith Hoard. He had a successful career in auto body work and in his younger years, owned Bob’s Auto Detailing in Lakewood, NY. He married Dorothy (Wheeler) Cochrane in 1979 in Lakewood, NY. Bob enjoyed carpentry work and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Bob is survived by his three daughters: Roseanne Nelson-Cochrane, Charity Nuse, and Stephanie Bemis-Rowe; three sons: Chris Kane, Jamie Clifton, and Robert Clifton; Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren: Jerecho Johnson, Phoenix Luvison, Eric Pettabon, Sophie and Miley Nelson, Tyler Bemis (Daughter-Raven Bemis) and Annessa Trask (Son- Avery Winston), Britney Clifton (Son-Keegan Raysor) and Chasity Clifton-Rico (Son-Jaidyn Huff), Jamie Clifton Jr. and Spencer Clifton, Derek Traver and Chelsea Clifton, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Cochrane. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or formal service at this time. Interment will be private. Instead, a Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 1st, from 5:30p-7:30p at The Spire Theater, 317 East 3rd St. Jamestown, NY. Family and Friends are welcome to attend.
