Obituary of Daniel A Dye

Daniel A Dye Jr (Ace), 56 of Jamestown passed away February 27, 2022at his home after a short battle with cancer. He was born March 20, 1965 in Jamestown a son of Daniel Dye Sr. and Donna Bryant Borstorff. Daniel was a lifelong area resident, he spent many years traveling when he worked as a big rig semi-truck driver. He was also talented in plumbing, mechanics, and carpentry. He was also an avid electrician. Danny always had a project started. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and fixing things. He will be remembered for helping others, his kind heart, and his extreme love for animals especially his dog “goober” Daniel is Survived by his Father, Daniel A Dye Sr of Joplin Missouri, his brothers, Donald Dye of Seabring FL and Daryl Dye of Jamestown, his sister Dawn Dye, of Dunkirk NY, his sister, Rhonda Hultin of Sumter SC and a daughter who was his heart Sabrina Horton of Jamestown NY. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Bentlee Horton, Caydence Horton, Silas Triglia and Elaina Triglia all of Jamestown and several nieces and nephews Proceeded in death by his mother Donna Borstorff and Step Father Daniel Borstorff Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.
