Obituary of William J Bliss Sr.

William J Bliss Sr, 50, of Falconer, NY died unexpectedly 2/17/22 in his home. He was a graduate of Pioneer Central School. He is survived by his fiancée Christina Proctor-Marucci, his step-father David Green, sisters Tracy Hillman and Mary Jo Bliss, 4 children William Bliss Jr, Starr Bliss, Dezeray Bliss and Roselynn Bliss, 4 stepchildren, Aaron Marucci, Andy Marucci, Chelsea (Matthew) Levesque, Alexa (Christopher)Dole and 8 grandchildren, Taryn, Wyatt, Walker, Callum, Ridge, Sully, Remi and Claire, who is due to arrive in May. He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Green and an infant brother, David Green. Bill was a true outdoorsman, one who loved and appreciated nature. His summertime passions included gardening and cutting firewood, which he would use to host nightly campfires with friends and family. Some of the most precious times with Bill were sitting around a camp fire sharing stories. Bill's family and friends will always remember him as the man who truly spoke from the heart, valuing the quality of his words over the quantity. He spoke with honesty and kindness that made all feel welcome in his presence. Those who knew Bill knew he was there for you always with hesitation. That is just the type of man he was, dependable and supportive. To honor Bill's legacy, lend a hand to a stranger, be kind to one another, and hold judgement against no man. That was Bill's way.
