Andrew Helms, 72 of Jamestown passed away Thursday January 6, 2022 at his home surrounded by his daughter Dawn Springstead, Lori Hazelton, Roger Roselli, and Tom Malone. He was born May 23, 1949 in Sewickly, PA the son of the late Kelison and Ruby Helms. Andrew was a retired minister who enjoyed fishing, music and watching old westerns. He will be deeply missed. Andrew is survived by his children, Dawn Springstead of Jamestown, Ellen Millirern of Freeport, Sonia Atwell of Oregon, Nicole Olsen of Jamestown, Michael Brunetto of Pennsylvania, John (Beef) Brunetto of Pennsylvania, Son in law, Timothy Atwell of Falconer, his brother, Richard Helms, and good friends, Benita Robinson of Jamestown and Michael and Crystal Sissem of Jamestown. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. There will be no services at this time. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Andrew would want his children and grandchildren to be good to each other and loves all of you very much. The family would like to thank everyone who has helped through the years. God bless you. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
