Obituary of Carolyn Ross

Carolyn Ross, 65, of Jamestown, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27th, 2021, following a brief illness. Carolyn was born on August 8th, 1956 in Westfield, NY, a daughter of Paul Kranking and Melissa Schuppenhauer. Carolyn loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending her time with them along with her many friends that became family throughout the years. She was kind, understanding and patient, had a huge heart and the kindest soul. Carolyn is survived by her father and step-mother, Paul And Dorothy Kranking, four siblings, Crystal Shore, Parrish, FL, Dawn Kranking, Syracuse, NY, Eugene (Mike) Kranking, Jamestown,NY, and sister Paige Wittenbrook, Sacramento, CA, five children, David Silliman SR., Jamestown, NY, Shane Silliman, Jamestown, NY, Jennifer Wright, Newton, North Carolina, Jason Huge, Newton, North Carolina, Joseph Silliman of Jamestown, NY, and her 18 grandchildren, and her 20 great-grandchildren, in which she adored spending time with every chance she had. She was also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who all meant the world to her. Along with spending time with those that meant the most, she enjoyed football, *she was a life-long Buffalo Bills fan, cooking her Pasta Salad, baking her sweet cookies and playing her online games. She was proceded in death by her mother, Melissa Schuppenhauer whom she missed deeply, and a brother Michael Kranking. Visitation hours will be Saturday December 4th, 2021 from 1pm-3pm at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home, Located at 111 South Main Street in Jamestown, New York.
