Obituary of JoAnn R Norman

JoAnn R Norman, 73 of Jamestown passed away October 25, 2021 at her home. She was born August 19, 1948 in Jamestown NY a daughter of Laverne Sr. and Dorothy Mee. JoAnn was one of the first surviving triplets born in Jamestown. JoAnn worked as a waitress in several Jamestown establishments. She also worked as a nursing aide at the County Home and at Sterling wood products. Joann loved to play bingo and spending time talking with her grandchildren. JoAnn is survived by her eldest son, Paul (Jennifer) Norman of Gerry, NY, son, Scott Norman of Jamestown, NY, and son, James (Vicky) Norman of Jamestown, NY, her siblings, John (Lydia) McCarthy of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ginger (Earl) Johnson of Bemus Point, James MCCarthy ( a triplet) of Jamestown, NY, Bonnie (John) Dalrymple of Falconer, NY, and Laverne Jr, (Lori) Mee of Jamestown, NY, her grandchildren, Amanda (Shawn) Michael, Katee Norman, Alicia Deland, Kassandra Norman, Victoria Norman, and Sydney Deland, and her great grandchildren, Olvia, Christopher, and Bradon. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins. JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Deanna Boardman and Janet Bennink (a triplet). Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday October 30, 2021 from 12pm-3pm at the Eastside Fellowship Club of Jamestown, NY.
