Catherine Whitacre, 69 of Jamestown passed away unexpectedly October 16, 2021 at UPMC Chautauqua. She was born June 28, 1952 in Gowanda, NY the daughter of Clarence and Alice Whitacre.
After receiving her GED Catherine worked as a CNA. Her love of taking care of people made her career a very fulfilling one. She also enjoyed canning and watching her soaps.
Catherine is survived by 4 sisters, 7 brothers, 4 children, 18 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
Catherine was preceded in death by her Parents Clarence and Alice Whitacre and grandson, Isaac Sutton.
A Memorial service will be held October 28, 2021 from 2pm-5pm at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.
