Obituary of Austin LaBarr

Austin Daniel LaBarr, 39, of Jamestown, NY, passed away on Sept 14, 2021, as a result of a lengthy illness. He was born on April 12, 1982 to Karen (Jones) Byler and John F LaBarr in Jamestown, NY. Austin attended Youngsville High School and later received a GED. He is survived by his mother, Karen Byler, Stepfather, Thomas Byler, father, John F. LaBarr, 2 step brothers, Thomas Byler and John LaBarr, Jr., along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Austin was most recently employed by Tops Markets, Jamestown and surrounding areas, as a Meat Cutter. He spent the majority of his life in Georgia and the Gulf Coast of Florida where he worked as a Manager for CVS. Austin will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh with his sarcastic and quick-witted humor and his heart of gold. He loved cars, music (his favorites: Stevie Nicks and Natalie Merchant), people (his friends, of which he had many and his family), and life in general. Austin was preceded in death by his maternal Grandmother, Marilyn Jones, his paternal Grandmother, Nancy Meals, paternal step-Grandfather, Charles Meals, paternal Grandfather, Donald LaBarr, his Aunt Sue, Aunt Beth, Uncle Jim, and cousin Donnie.
