Heather Cardwell Hancock, 53 of Jamestown, NY passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 16, 2021. Born December 13, 1967 to Thomas and Carol Cardwell, she grew up in Mayville, NY. She spent countless hours at her beloved Mayville diner. Heather was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved to cook for her family. She filled everyone’s lives with her distinct and endearing laugh. She loved to draw, swim in the Potomac River, and watch her soaps. Heather was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Lee Cardwell and her beloved friend, Sam Colletti. Heather is survived by her mother, Carol Cardwell, her brother, Tom Cardwell, her sisters, Elizabeth (Kevin) Cardwell and Danelle Roane, her children, Justine Hancock, Thomas (Shannon) Hancock, Ashley Hancock, Cody (Savannah) Hancock, stepson, Bradley Chadwick, her beloved Salvatore Russo, and her special cousin, John Hagenah. Also surviving are her 11 grandchildren and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in laws. Calling hours will be Tuesday April 20, 2021 10am-1pm at Hubert Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Stockton, NY. In lieu of flowers donations made be made to Hubert Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
