William C. Fruin, passed away on February 6, 2021. He was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on March 15, 1936. A graduate of Lakeview High School (Battle Creek, MI), Michigan State University in business, and an MBA from the University of Detroit. Bill held increasing positions of leadership from 1958-1987 at General Motors, Rockwell International, and Carborundum. Bill was a resident of Jamestown for 40 years. He was an active participant at the Jamestown Little Theater, The Reg Lenna Center for the Arts, and Meals on Wheels. William is preceded in death by his parents, Martha And Percy Fruin and his sister, Rosalie Veatch. William is survived by his wife of 64 years, Anne Fruin, his children, Cathie (Dave) Wilson of Dandridge, Tennessee and Mike (Kim) Fruin of Lititz, Pennsylvania, his grandchildren, Greg (Traci) Wilson, Keely Wilson, Steve Wilson, Samantha (Chris) Ryan, Brittany (Miles) Snelgrove, Austin Fruin, and Matt Fruin, and his great grandchildren, Lilli and Zach Wilson, Addie Ryan, and Layla Snelgrove.
