Brenda Hallett

Obituary of Brenda S Hallett

Please share a memory of Brenda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Brenda Susan Hallett passed away on January 18, 2021, at home, after a short battle with cancer. She was 56 years old. Brenda was born December 26, 1964, in Jamestown, NY to Carl and Kathryn Hallett. She was the sister of Carl, Kevin, and Scott Hallett, Cathy and Jim Kepler, and Sharon Davis. Affectionately known as “Ma Dukes” “Freeda” “Bren doe da” “B.A.” Morganstern” or “Aunt Bren,” Brenda was a full of life lady who loved to rock out to Rob Thomas, Melissa Ethridge, and Train. She loved going to the store to “play her numbers,” sometimes, multiple times a day. She made friends very quickly and easily, and stayed loyal to them, no matter what. She loved all of her family, and was proud of all of her children and grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews for their own special reasons. Brenda was loved by all who knew her, and her home was often the meeting point of many family get togethers, parties and celebrations. Her lasagna and pasta salad were the best! Brenda will be deeply missed by her six children, Amanda, Doug, Rocco, and Cierra Beardsley, Chelsey Hunt and Courtney Lucas, as well as her 12 grandchildren, Mariah Bishop, Josh Williams, Jr., Douglas, Kamden and Roslyn Beardsley, Richie Riley, Nevaeh Robles, Keegan Guillory, Randallyn, Isaiah and Josiah Torres, and Jada-Marie Lucas. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn Hallett, a brother, David Hallett, and a grandson, Titus Deprospo, as well as her best friends, Debbie Reardon and Randall Hunt. Services will be held at Hubert Funeral Home 111 S. Main St. Jamestown, NY. Monday, January 25th, 2021. Friends will be received from 12pm to 1pm, with funeral services being held privately for immediate family only, at a later time. Visitors are reminded to wear face coverings and practice social distancing while at the funeral home. Send a condolence by visiting www.hubertfuneralhome.com
