Obituary of Faith E Glazier

Faith Glazier, 87, of Jamestown, NY, passed away suddenly on 11/24/20 at Tanglewood Manor. Faith was born on April 22nd, 1933 to Robert and Aliene Rose Johnson in Jamestown. She attended Ithaca High School and then went on to study Art at Worcester State University. While pursuing her career in arts, she had two children Christopher Balaskas (48) and Kenneth Glazier (57). When Faith (aka Faye) had her sons, she decided to dedicate her life to being a caring mother. Faye was always there for family through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was helping family through difficulties, putting a roof over our head, or making sure there was food on the table - she made it her mission to help others. Faye was passionate about dancing and the arts, and when she was not taking care of her home, she could be found in her living room knitting, crocheting or practicing oil painting. We will miss her greatly. Faith loved to dance, to be with friends and she liked to be called - Fay Wray from King Kong! Faye was preceded in death by Robert Johnson (Father) and Aliene Trottier Johnson (Mother). Besides her children, Faye is survived by her brother, Earl Johnson, her grandchildren, Alex Glazier, Rhiannon Glazier, Irys Gedz-Balaskas and several nieces, lots of nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
