Obituary of Diane Novara

Diane Ferrari Novara, 71 of Jamestown passed away Wednesday December 18, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer at the home of her sister and caregiver, Sandra Kavanaugh surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 18, 1948 in Jamestown the daughter of Joseph and Frances Ferrari. Diane was a graduate of Jamestown High School class of 1967. She worked for Krape Kraft in Hamburg NY for over 40 years. Later she worked for Laurie’s Kountry Kafé in Jamestown. Diane was known for her keen fashion sense. She was always very well dressed often matching her shoes to her earrings. She enjoyed shopping and loved to take walks. Diane is survived by her son William Novara Jr, her siblings, Mary Berg, JoAnn Alincic, Sandra (Daniel) Kavanaugh, and John (Robin) Ferrari, her nieces and nephews, Michael (Becky) Berg and their children, Melissa and Michael, Christina Alincic, Kevin, John Michael, Jacob, and Abby Ferrari, Lauren (Dustin) Gutknecht, Audra, Jason, and Nichole Kavanaugh, and her aunt and Godmother Mary Cusimano. Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews and cousins. Diane is preceded in death by her Parents Joseph and Frances Ferrari and her brother, Joseph Ferrari. Visitation will be held Friday December 20, 2019 from 4-8pm at Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Funeral Mass will be Saturday December 21, 2019 10am at Sacred Heart of Mary Church North Collins NY.
