Margaret Knowlton Larkin, 70, of Gerry, NY, passed away on Thursday (Jan. 07, 2016) at Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing, Gerry, NY.She was born in Olean, NY on August 16, 1945, the daughter of the late Lester and Geneva Stevens Knowlton.
Margaret loved to spend time with her grandchildren and also enjoyed playing bingo.
Margaret is survived by two sons, Carl Larkin Jr. (Tracy Jones) of Jamestown, NY and Joey Larkin of Port Allegany, NY; a daughter, Carol Larkin (Matthew Haven) of Bradford, PA; six grandchildren: Joshua Bobenrieth of Port Allegany, PA, Tiffany Bobenrieth of Bradford, PA, Nithanial Bobenrieth of Olean, NY, Jordan Bobenrieth of Bradford, PA, Brandon Larkin of Freeport, PA and Curtis Larkin of Jamestown; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leroy ( Jo ) Knowlton of Olean and Willard (Carol) Knowlton of Jamestown; four sisters, Marcella (Sally) Brown, Dawn (Jim) Hoffman, Lorraine (Tony) Knowlton, Barbara (Frank) Williams, all of Olean NY; and several nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceeded in death by her parents, two brothers Kenneth and Joseph Knowlton, and three sisters, Mary Elliot, June Knowlton and Jane Champlin.
The funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday, January 12, 2016, in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Rev. William Blair, pastor, of the New Creation Assembly of God Church will officiate. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Bradford, PA.
