Obituary of Frances R Pollaro

Frances Elia Pollaro, 81 of Jamestown passed away unexpectedly September 2, 2019 at her home. She was born December 6, 1937 in Jamestown NY the daughter of William and Anna Gagliano Elia.

 Frances graduated Jamestown High School class of 1955. She married her love Anthony Pollaro June 8, 1958 in Christ Italian Methodist Church Jamestown NY.

 She worked as a secretary for WCA hospital for many years. Frances also taught Sunday school at Christ Italian Methodist Church.

 Frances loved to play the piano and organ for friends and family and her greatest love, spending time with her grandchildren.

 Frances is survived by her Husband of 61 years Anthony Pollaro, her children, Cynthia (Anthony) Foti, Sharon (James) Young, and Robert (Sandra) Pollaro, her grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler) Long, Briana (Shawn) Thompson, Robby Pollaro, and Claudia Pollaro. She is also survived by her brother Salvatore (Rachel) Elia.

 Frances is preceded in death by her parents William and Anna Elia.

 Visitation will be Thursday September 5, 2019 from 11am-1pm at Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

 A religious service will be held at the Funeral Home at 1pm

 Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lions Club of Jamestown 22 Jewel Pl. Jamestown, 14701.
