Edward J Blake, 77 of Lakewood passed away May 30, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester NY. He was born January 3, 1942 in Jamestown NY the son of Francis and Estella May Blake.

 Edward worked as a general contractor all his life. He loved to hunt and fish. Edward enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family and was known for his love of “weird” food. If you knew him you will know what this means, his favorite quote “FADB” He will be sadly missed.

 Edward is survived by his children, Tammy (Neil) Magnuson of Lakewood, Edward (Janel) Blake of Panama, Scott (Jessica) Blake of Lakewood, Robert (Jill) Blake of Busti, Jefferson (Jennifer) Blake of Pennsylvania, and Brandi (David) Jinks of Lutz FL, his brother, Bud Beichner of Sinclairville, as well as 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

 Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Francis Blake in 1976 and Estella May Blake in 1972, his brother Bob, and his sisters, Mary, Florence, Betty, and Geraldine, his grandson Patrick Seekings, his great grandson Edward Payton Blake, and 2 beloved dogs Diamond and Bailey.

 Arrangements entrusted to Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

 A celebration of life will be held Sunday June 9, 2019 from 1-4pm at the Llama Club in Ashville NY.
