Obituary of Linda Mahoney

Linda Mahoney, 52, of Jamestown passed away April 10, 2019 at UPMC Chautauqua WCA.  She was born September 10, 1966 in Chicago IL, the daughter of Herbert and Lillian Mather.

 Linda was a 1985 graduate of Bloomington HS, IN where she was the pianist for the show choir and a cross country track and field athlete. Linda won a prize on the game show The Price is Right on one of the last episodes to feature Bob Barker. On August 31, 1998 she married her husband Robert Mahoney in Columbus IN. While residing to Los Angeles, CA Linda worked as a professional nanny to celebrities for over ten years. She also worked as a front-end representative for a multimillion-dollar corporation.

 Linda and Robert moved to Jamestown in 2008 where Linda worked various jobs until illness forced her to retire.

 Linda was a devoted Methodist who prayed every day. She was an incredible pianist who composed her own music. She enjoyed watching movies with her husband. Linda was the proud mother to her three cats Talia Marie, Babie Marie, and Church Michael.

 Linda is survived by her husband Robert Mahoney, her Father Herbert (Sue) Mather, her brothers, Mike (Cathy) Mather, Peter Mather, and Alan (Amy) Mather, as well as several nieces and nephews.

 Linda is preceded in death by her mother Lillian Mather and her three cats (her children) Karen Bananas, Purrboy, and Callie.

  Interment will be Monday April 15, 2019 at Lakeview Cemetery 12:15pm.

  Visitation will be Monday April 15, 2019 from 10am-12pm at Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
