Obituary of Frances M McCarren

Frances M. McCarren, of Bemus Point, formerly of Pittsburgh passed away suddenly on December 14, 2018. Fran`s enthusiasm for life was evident in everything she did and could be heard in her laugh. She was involved in numerous social activities. She participated in several golf leagues and rarely turned down a chance to play during the summer. Fran was active with the Fortnightly group, as a presenter and serving on committees, including program chairwoman. She enjoyed reading and organized book clubs to share her love of books. Fran was an avid bridge player. She was constantly playing, practicing, teaching or organizing games. She participated in tournaments locally and as far as Denver, CO. Fran's true passion was all of her friendships, and her activities helped her meet and keep in touch with all of her friends. She will be missed by all of the people she came in contact with. Fran is survived by her sons, Michael, Frank, and Timothy and her sister Joan Bailey She is preceded in death by her husband Patrick McCarren, her parents Frank and Mary Maker, and her sister Carol Ladigo.
