Obituary of Josephine Borton

Josephine Dominico Borton, 92, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at UPMC Chautauqua, Jamestown, N.Y. Josephine was born Jan. 23, 1926, in Buffalo N.Y., the daughter of John and Lucy Parlato Dominico. A Jamestown resident since 1934, she had been employed by Tommy's Pizza. She had also been employed at Maddox Table as a cabinet maker during the 1950s and by U.S News on Third Street and taught classes at the former Girls Club. Josephine is survived by her children: Charlene (Frederick) Peterson of Jamestown, N.Y., Nancy (Jesse) Jackson of Denver, Colo., and Chaz (Kimberly) Borton of Jamestown, N.Y.; her grandchildren: Justin (Jessica) Peterson of Kennedy, N.Y., Elizabeth Peterson of Jamestown, N.Y., Kendra Miller of Denver, Colo., Jesse Jackson II of Denver, Colo., Michelle (Rev. Scott) Waterman of Olean, N.Y., Christopher (Amanda) Chapman of Georgia, and Alishia Borton and Charles Borton, both of Jamestown N.Y.; and several greatgrandchildren. Josephine is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers: Nicholas Dominico and Frank Dominico. Calling hours will be Friday from 11 a.m. to noon at Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A religious service will be held at the funeral home from noon to 1 p.m. Followed by inurnment at Lakeview Cemetery Jamestown, N.Y.
