Obituary of Grace T Comella

Grace T. Comella of Jamestown, NY passed away October 23, 2018. Grace was born in Jamestown, NY to the late Thomas and Rose Scalise Paolillo. She graduated from Jamestown High School. Grace was the wife of the late Leonard J. Comella. Upon graduation, she went to work in her mother's grocery store. In the store she had the opportunity to talk with customers, give out advice, and help with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Grace was everybody's second mother. Grace was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church. She is Survived by her children Rosemarie Zimmerman of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Patricia Dewey (Fiancé Gabriel Feher) of Jamestown, NY, and Leonard M. (Susan) Comella of Jamestown, NY, Grandchildren, Larry D. (Nissa) Zimmerman of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Allison (Alex) Taji of Frederick of MD, Ted E. Dewey II of Blasdell, NY, Matthew L. Comella of Milwaukee, WI, and Katelyn (Jon) Boyd of Erie, PA, Great Grandchildren, Jude and Shepard Zimmerman of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Edward and Julia Taji of Frederick, MD, along with her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents grace is preceded in death by her husband Leonard J. Comella, sisters, Nina Palermo and June Gullotti, son-in-law Larry D. Zimmerman. Her family would like to express a special thank you to the wonderful group of individuals who cared for Grace over the past several years. Their kind and compassionate care was a comfort to her family and will always be remembered. A funeral mass will be held Monday 10am at St. James RCC.
