Ann Caruso- 73 of Jamestown passed away peacefully surrounded by her Husband and holding her daughter's hand on May 3, 2018 at UMPC Hamot. Annie was born May 30, 1944 in Jamestown NY to Frank and Concetta Buttafarro. She graduated Jamestown high school in 1962. Annie married Jack Caruso on November 27, 1965 at St. James Roman Catholic Church Jamestown NY.
Annie was a dedicated Mother and homemaker. Later on, in life her love for children led her to start a day care service in her home. Known as "Annie's babies" she loved all her little angels. Annie's special babies include Ashley Calla, Amelia Dolce, and Christian Dolce. Annie was an excellent cook and could do it with her eyes closed. She enjoyed entertaining, and hosting holidays. Annie would always say "Mangia!" No one ever walked away hungry and always walked away with food.
Annie is survived by her husband Jack, daughter Roseann Carlson and her Fiancée Patrick Dawson. brothers Tom Buttafarro (Dianna), James Buttafarro (Brenda), Sister in law Jan Buttafarro, Godchild and niece Sherrie (Mike) Southwick, Neices and Nephews, Stacy Felton and her boyfriend Mike Doane, Frank Buttafarro III, Tom Buttafarro (Shannon), Jamin Buttafarro (Katie), Hannah Buttafarro, Tony Caruso (Wendy) -, and Robert Caruso (Debbie). Great Neices and Nephews, Jack Felton Grace Felton, Ellie Felton, Carter Buttafarro, and Josie Buttafarro.
Annie is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Concetta Buttafarro, Son in law Barry Carlson, brother Frank Buttafarro Jr, and cousin Grace Coverdale.
Visitation will be held Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services
A funeral service will be held at 7:30pm officiated by Father Daryll Duffy.
