Angeline Syracuse Panebianco, 97, of 121 Howard St., Jamestown, died at 11:58 p.m. Tuesday (December 7, 2010) in the WCA Hospital.
She was born in Brocton, New York on April 1, 1913 the daughter of Thomas and Benedetta Donato Syracuse.
During WWII, she was employed at Bell Aircraft in Buffalo, N.Y., Angie was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and was also innvolved with the St. Joseph Table and the Summer Festival.
Angie is survived by a son Fred T. Panebianco, Jamestown and a daughter Marie (Robert) Wise, Atlanta, Ga., three grandchildren Robert Jr., Christopher and Mark Wise, Atlanta, Ga..
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Panebianco whom she married In Brocton, a brother Anthony Syracuse and seven sisters Anna Glace, Frances Battaglia, Lena Siragusa, Jennie Lombard, Josephine Randazzo, Margaret & Angela Syracuse.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home And Cremation Services.
An Altar & Rosary Society Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. and a Christian Wake Service will be held at 3:30 p.m..
