Carmella Triscari, 96, formerly of 35 Maple St., Jamestown, died at 5:00 a.m. Wednesday (January 5, 2011) in the Hertiage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing.
She was born in Busti, N.Y. on September 7, 1914 the daughter of Rosario and Maria Contiguglia Triscari.
Carm was employed as a bookkeeper for Tom Conti Beer Distributor for over thirty years and was employed by the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services for over five years. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and was one of the original volunteers at the St. James Thrift Store. She was also a volunteer at the WCA Hospital and RSVP.
Carm is survived by her sister Bessie Calalesina, Jamestown and by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers Sebastian and Sam C. Triscari.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home And Cremation Services.
An Altar & Rosary Society Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. and a Christian Wake Service will be held at 4:30 p.m..
