Anthony Robert Pollaro Obituary
Anthony Robert Pollaro, 90 of Jamestown, passed away on June 26, 2026, at UPMC Chautauqua. He was born on October 15, 1935, in Jamestown to Anthony and Rose Pollaro.
Anthony proudly served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957. Upon his honorable discharge, Anthony returned to Jamestown. Anthony married his love, Frances Elia Pollaro on June 8, 1958, in Christ Italian Church Jamestown. He worked as a butcher for several local grocery stores, retiring from Quality Markets. He was a fan of the Buffalo Bills, New York Yankees and the New York Giants. Anthony enjoyed traveling and playing golf. His greatest love was for his family. He loved spending time with and caring for all his family.
Anthony is survived by his children, Cynthia (Anthony) Foti of Bonita Springs, FL , Sharon (James) Young of Port Allegany, PA and Robert W (Sandra) Pollaro of Queensbury, NY, his grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler) Long, Briana (Shawn) Thompson, Robert P Pollaro and Claudia M Pollaro , his great grandchildren, Monroe and Maren Long and Harlow and Calvin Thompson and his brother, Richard (Diane) Pollaro of Youngsville, PA.
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Rose Pollaro, his wife, Frances Elia Pollaro and his brother, Samuel Pollaro.
Visitation will be held on Monday June 29, 2026, from 11am-12pm at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. A religious service to be held at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home at 12pm.
Burial to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
