Lawrence Duane Dipzinski, 80, of Jamestown, NY passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo on May 8, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Lawrence was born in Grayling, MI and grew up in Sparr, MI with 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He enjoyed a wide range of interests including hunting, fishing, science, engineering and technology. He was an active member of the amateur radio community, KB2ESY.

Lawrence was preceded by his daughter, Wilma Jean and his son, Jamie.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wilma Norrine, his son, Larry (Jackie), his daughter, Monica (Steven) Waldie, his 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, his sister, Sally (Claude) Huff and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.

In accordance with Lawrence’s wishes, services will not be observed.

Memorial donations may be made to The National Kidney Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Disease Research.
