David Edgar Wright, 79, of Ashville NY, passed away peacefully at home February 26, 2026. Born October 3, 1946, he was the son of Eugene and Alice June Wright.

David had previously worked at Adanloc of Jamestown NY until obtaining his license for LPN. He then worked for Jones Hill Psychiatric of Jamestown and UPMC of Jamestown until his retirement.

David was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoying his time at Camp in Marienville with family and friends. He also volunteered many hours of his time at the Ashville Food Pantry.

Surviving is his wife Sandi of 52+ years, daughter Tami Trusler of Little Valley NY. Sisters Janice & Debbie of Punxsutawney PA, Lisa of Lakewood NY, Tonya of Jamestown NY. Brothers Claude of Gerry NY, Jeff of Los Angeles CA, and George of Sherman NY. 2 granddaughters, Alyssa & Payton of Jamestown, & 3 great grandchildren, Zayden, Ava, & Carter of Jamestown NY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sharon, and son Jordan.

His beloved dog Miley was his constant companion and Best Friend.

Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.

No visitation will be held. Services are private.
