Wendie Anne Lyle Cressley, 45 of Jamestown, NY passed away on February 10th, 2026. Born on April 3rd, 1980, in Erie, PA. She was the daughter of Kurt J. Lyle and Cheryl L. Shirley Leak.

Wendie was a beautiful young soul who loved living in the moment. She had a deep passion for helping those in need. Wendie received her Associates degree in Human Services from Jamestown Community College. She loved spending time with her children, her best friend Charity, close friends, her siblings and their families. She enjoyed camping, hiking, riding ATV's, swimming, watching cooking shows, music and crafts. Wendie very much enjoyed her summer vacations with family. She had two chocolate labs, Ruger and Ari and a cat that she rescued named Shadow, whom she loved very much.

Even in death Wendie had a giving and loving heart, saving the lives of multiple individuals through organ donation and organ research.

Besides her mother, Wendie is survived by her son Bradley Southwick; his fiancé Beth Huffer and granddaughter Winsley Southwick. Her son Trystan Cressley and daughter Willow Cressley. Siblings: Jesse Lyle, April Lyle (Randy) Yanik, Holly Lyle (William) Allen, and Lance Lyle, Sheila Vergith, Todd Vergith. Stepfather Scott Blakeslee, Several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Close companion Rolland Smith Jr., Close family Robert and Lorraine Vergith.

Celebration of Life was held on February 14th, 2026, at Levant Wesleyan Church in Falconer, NY with close friends and family.
