Mary S. Basile, 95, of Jamestown NY, passed away January 31, 2026, she was born January 11, 1931, to Anthony Basile and Sara (Canfora) Basile in Jamestown NY. Mary graduated from Jamestown High School.

Mary is survived by her nephew Samuel R. Enserro Jr. of Chicopee MA, her niece Michelle Basile of Voorhees NJ, and her nephews Ross Parasiliti of Plano TX and Robert Parasiliti of Jamestown. She is also survived by four great nieces and nephews as well as four great-great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her cousin Carmella Franchina with whom she made her home as well as her siblings, Catherine Galatti, Carl Basile, Clara Enserro, and Josephine Parasiliti.

Mary worked many years in medical records at WCA hospital and was a long-time parishioner of St. James. She will be missed by her many longtime friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday February 14, 2026, from 9AM-9:45AM at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday February 14, 2026, 10AM at St. James RCC Jamestown NY. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Jamestown NY.
