Donald R Higbee Obituary

Donald Ray Higbee, 81 of Jamestown, passed away January 15, 2026. He was born on December 22, 1944, in Meadville, PA and raised in West Ellicott. He would often go with his parents to Florida where he loved the heat and sunshine.

Donald enjoyed fishing, bowling, football and baseball. He was a New York Yankees fan, watching every game even attending some. He knew the history of every player. When it was football season he was all about the Buffalo Bills. He watched every game and attended games when he could.

Donald was a gentle soul. He did not understand when people would be cruel or unkind. He gentle nature was never to blame them. Donald had a wonderful smile. He didn’t laugh often but when he did it made your heart happy.

I am proud to say that Donald was my dear friend. My life has changed because you were in it. I’ll miss you but I will see you later.
