Jason Jay Crawford, 46 of Jamestown passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2025, in Lakewood, NY. He was born September 29, 1978, in Dunkirk, NY, the son of Truman Jay (Pamela) Crawford and Madelyn Elaine Joy Chatley Crawford.

Jason graduated from Southwestern High School. He had several certificates in watch making and repair. He also repaired computers.

Jason was an excellent cook specializing in BBQ and smoking meats. He was a humble quiet spirit who always wore a smile. He loved to talk to people in depth about things. In his younger years Jason was in the scouting program and was Mensa eligible. He also loved to take apart electrical things not always knowing how to put them back together.

Jason was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His most significant accomplishment was his family. He will be deeply missed.

Jason is survived by his wife, Tammy J Manhart Crawford who he married on February 28, 2001, his children, Richard Michael (Raquel) Manhart, James Jay Crawford and Mary Elizabeth Crawford, his grandchild, Carter Jay Crawford, his siblings, Michael (Amy) Crawford, Thomas (Danielle) Crawford, Angeline Crawford, Amanda Crawford and Annette (Ben) Crawford and his nieces and nephews, Morgan, Jacob, Ryker, Logan, Carson, Brian, Mathew, Emily, Lucas, Jacqueline, and Zander.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Madelyn Crawford and his brother, Adam Jay Crawford.

Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.

A Memorial service will be held Friday September 5, 2025, from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. 851 Forest Ave Jamestown NY 14701.
