Obituary of Shirley Hitchcock

Shirley E. Simmons (Hitchcock), 82, of Busti New York, passed away July 15, 2025 due to a long illness. She was born May 13, 1943 to her parents, Floyd Simmons and Florella Simmons (Bogordus) in Charlotte Center NY. Shirley attended Cassadaga Valley school. She is survived by her three children Bettyjoe Ramirez of Newark NY, Billyjo Hitchcock (Amanda Evanock) of Ashville NY, Annamarie Raynor (Steven Raynor) of Busti NY and grandchildren Florencio Alicea (Jess), Jessica Ramirez, Shirley Ramirez (Justin), Madison Hitchcock, Jillian Kimmel, Jayden Raynor, Mia Raynor, Stephon Alicea-Ascioti (Ashley) and 10 great grandchildren and 1great great grandchild on the way. Her siblings Audrey Wynn (Butch) of buzzards Bay MA and Alvin Simmons (Barbara) of Falconer NY. She was predeceased by her parents and five brothers. Shirley loved to crochet blankets, and she never missed an episode of her soaps. Shirley was an amazing mother that would do anything for her children. Due to Shirley's wish no services will be held.
