Richard Wayne Heiser, 51, of Jamestown, New York passed away on July 8th, 2025 with his beloved wife by his side. He was born on February 1, 1974 to parents Wayne Heiser and Cynthia Joseph in Souderton, Pennsylvania. He recently celebrated 26 years of marriage to Patricia Heiser. Richard is survived by his wife Patricia, daughters Cheyenne Heiser and Brianna Willburn, sons Justin Heiser and Richard Smith, grandsons Sterling Richard Kal-El Willburn and Kairo Wayne Andito Crolle and granddaughters Melody Smith, Ayaat Smith, Daliya Mahmood, Bedoor Mahmood, and Ritaj Mahmood. He is also survived by his parents Wayne Heiser and Cynthia Joseph as well as his siblings Christie Kemler, Ryan Heiser, Joshua Heiser, Mellinda Toro, Jillian Vought, Matthew Joseph, Kayla Joseph, Brianna Joseph, Jenna Hesse, Michael Joseph and Samantha Joseph, Stepmother Debbie Heiser, , Stepbrother James Peterson and Stepsister Danielle Peterson. He was predeceased by daughter Hayley Smith-Mahmood and stepfather Steven Joseph.

Richard was loved by so many friends and family. He was known to be rough around the edges but possessed a huge heart of gold. Richard enjoyed cooking, being with friends and in recent years he particularly loved spending time with his grandchildren and close family.

A celebration of Richard’s life will be held on Saturday July 19th at 1pm at Contis Overtime Restaurant in Kennedy, New York. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations for any hospital and funeral costs incurred.
