Ross C. Parasiliti, 97, of Jamestown NY joined his beloved wife in heaven on Wednesday April 16, 2025. He was born in Tortorici Italy on September 17, 1927 the son of Rosario and Francesca Parasiliti. Ross spent many years on his family farm in Sicily taking care of crops and animals but immigrated to the U.S. in 1961 where he began working construction for Jamestown Construction. Ross married Josephine in June of 1961 at St. James Catholic Church where they were lifelong parishioners and spent many wonderful years together. In their later years Ross loved taking bus tours with his wife all over the U.S. He enjoyed growing vegetables in his garden and loved sharing his crops with his neighbors, he made his own sauce and carried on his wife’s recipes for all to enjoy. He also had a passion for woodworking and building furniture and even went onto working for Maddox Table Co and Mason Carvings but most of all Ross was a devoted husband, father and family man and always put his family first.

He is preceded in death by his wife Josephine Parasiliti and a sister Concetina.

He is survived by his sons Ross Parasiliti Jr of Plano TX and Robert Parasiliti of Jamestown NY, a brother Aldo Parasiliti, and his sisters Francesca and Giosepina, a granddaughter Kari Ann Abramson of Jamestown NY, a niece Michelle Basile of Voorhees NJ, a nephew Sam Enserro of Chicopee MA and a sister-in-law Mary Basile of Jamestown NY.

A visitation will be held on Monday April 21, 2025 at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home from 10AM-11AM with a mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. James Catholic Church at 11AM.

Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.
