Charles “Chunk” Hough, 68, of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away on March 27, 2025, following a lengthy illness.
He was born on March 18, 1957, in Monroe, N.C., to the late Crawford and Ressie Blakeney Hough.
Chunk graduated from Monroe High School in Monroe, N.C., and then continued his education by obtaining an associate’s degree in business management from Buffalo State University in Buffalo, N.Y.
Chunk is survived by two children: Byron and Amanda Hough of Bradenton, FL. And was the proud grandfather of five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Della Hough, of Jamestown, N.Y., a brother, Curtis Hough of Durham, N.C., and a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, Chunk was preceded in death by his brothers: Eddie and Michael Hough; and sisters: Minnie Sturdivant, Joyce and Barbara Hough and Helen Malone.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Riccardi’s (Hubert) Funeral Home, Jamestown, N.Y.
Per Chunk’s wishes, a Memorial service will be held at the Hampton Inn banquet hall located at 4 W. Oak Hill Rd, Jamestown, N.Y., on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend this service.
