Patsy A Magara Obituary

Patsy Ann (Nelson) Magara, 65 of Jamestown, New York passed away December 6 th at her home. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Elva Nelson. She attended Southwestern Central School until her family moved to Lander PA in 1972. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1977. She grew up on Baker Street Ext. Patsy worked with her mother at Rosselli Shoes and as a bookkeeper at many businesses around Jamestown. In later years she worked at the local Helping Hands. Patsy married her husband Edward Magara in 1997. In younger years she attended Busti Church of God.

Patsy is survived by brothers Steve (Patricia) Trask of Jamestown and Dennis Nelson of Frewsburg and sisters Dianne (Steve) French of Lakewood, Sherrie Ellis (Art Guyer) of Rochester and Jeanie (Roger) Hall of Busti and her Aunt Linda Edington of Greenhurst. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2022, both parents, a nephew Jonathan Trask, and a sister in law Pat Nelson.

No visitation will be held. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
