Selma J. Hawkins Pierce, 67 of Brocton, passed away after a short and sudden illness, Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
Born July 29, 1957 in Westfield a daughter of the late Iver and Irene Lincoln Ecker.
Her employment career included, cashier/waitress at 76 Truck Stop, North East, PA, clerk at Kwik Fill, Mayville, a CNA at Absolut Care of Westfield and then as a line worker at Jamestown Plastics, Brocton until her retirement in 2017.
Selma enjoyed crocheting, watching TV, especially the old time game shows, Criminal Minds and Days of Our Lives.
She is the wife of the late Paul H. Hawkins who she was together with from a young age, marrying October 18, 1991 and who died August 19, 2006 and her second husband, Steven D. Pierce who she married August 17, 2013 and who died April 26, 2016; mother of, Odia (Gary) Hannold of Bemus Point, Bambi (David McLaughlin) Hawkins and Paul "P.J." Hawkins all of Brocton, Paula (Cesar) Escobar of Tulsa, OK, Daisy (Jason) Williams of Sinclairville and the late Suzy Hannold, Josephine Hawkins and Irene Hawkins; grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of nine; sister of, Elda (late Harley) Hawkins of Portland, David (Garnet) Ecker and Donald Ecker all of Mayville and the late Pete and Edwin Ecker. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation 1pm Sunday in Park Church, 49 Sinclair Dr., Sinclairville, with a Celebration of Selma's Life beginning at 2 pm in the church.
