Richard Eugene Gariepy, born on July 5, 1955, passed away on August 7, 2024. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Etta Nichols Gariepy Burke; father, Donald Richard Gariepy; wife, Debbie Gariepy; and daughter, Amanda Lynn Gariepy.

Richard is survived by his son, Donald Gariepy, and daughter-in-law, Brenda. He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Evelyn, Leason, Lillian, and Ellasen, as well as Megan and Allen Glover, the grandchildren of his late daughter Amanda.

A graduate of Warren Area High School, Richard spent most of his adult life in Jamestown, NY, where he built a long and fulfilling career at Bush Industries Inc.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Richard found joy in the outdoors. He also enjoyed bowling and playing cards, hobbies that brought him together with friends and family. Those who knew Richard will remember him as a caring, kind, and loving man.
