Sharon Maisto Obituary

Sharon Maisto passed away on May 18, 2024, after years long illness. She was born March 31, 1956, to Fred and Madelon (Van Tilburg) Maisto of Jamestown NY. She attended Jamestown High School in 1975.

In her younger years, she was a bartender at Skippy’s Bar. She was also a cleaner and worked at Adanlock in Jamestown. In her later years, she took care of her grandkids, who she loved so much. In her spare time, she loved to volunteer at St. Susan’s Kitchen. One of her favorite memories to talk about was taking her nephew Jason skating at Evan’s Skateland and Bowling. She was known for her funny humor and her love for her family. Sharon’s memory will remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Sharon is survived by her children, Natalie Monroe, Brooke (AJ) Johnson, and Gregg Guichard. She had 5 grandchildren, Dylan (Ashley) Monroe, Essence Foust, Xavier Foust, Jax and Willow Johnson And 5 great grandchildren, Kamryn Monroe, Vincent Monroe, Matteo Monroe, Lorenzo Monroe, and Elias Foust. Her siblings, Helen (Joe) Leonard, Joann (Mike) Trostle, Pam (Craig) Lundgren, Beverly (Cork) Walsh, Larry (Mary) Maisto, Dennis Maisto. She also had many nieces and nephews, who she loved very much, like her own children.

In addition to her parent, Fred and Madelon Maisto, she was preceded in death by one of her triplet sisters, Patricia Maisto.

Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.

There will be no funeral services. A celebration of life will be June 23, 2024, at the Celeron Log Cabin from 2p-6p. Sharon’s ashes will be buried with her sister Patricia Maisto.
