Beth C. Glenn (67) of Bemus Point NY passed away surrounded by her loving family at UPMC Hamot on March 7, 2024 following a brief illness. She was born February 3, 1957 in Pittsburgh PA, to Jeanne Kauffman and the late David Carnahan.
Beth worked as a Paramedic for Tri-Community South in Pittsburgh PA, and with ALSTAR EMS in Jamestown NY. She was also a Flight Medic with Starflight in Jamestown NY. Beth then went on to attend the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Academy and became a Sheriff’s Deputy. She also worked in Law Enforcement with the Town of Pomfret and Town of Carrol in NY.
Beth loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, more than anything. She loved animals and enjoyed caring for her pets. She loved classic rock, and many friends and family knew her as “Richie Beth”.
Beth is survived by five children: Margaret Watkins (Derek), Michael Lindstrom (Stephanie), Emily Neligh (Patrick), Katherine Glenn, and Charles Glenn (Lindsey); five grandchildren: Alexander & Gracie Watkins, Addison Neligh, Rosalie Glenn and Jaxson Neligh; two brothers: Bruce Carnahan (Theresa) and Jeff Carnahan (Heather): a sister-in-law Leisa Carnahan, and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.
No funeral services will be scheduled at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a future date. Memorials can be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society.
