James Vaccaro Obituary

James Vaccaro, 77 of Jamestown passed away November 12, 2023, at UPMC Chautauqua. He was born October 5, 1946, in Jamestown, a son of Joseph Vaccaro Sr. and Sara Muscarella Vaccaro.

After graduating Jamestown High School class of 1965 James enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served during the Vietnam War. After returning home James worked for Jamestown Laminating. He went on to work at Chautauqua Hardware for 27 years until his retirement. He was a well-known skeet and trap shooter winning many area awards and contests. He will be deeply missed,

James is survived by his brother, Joseph Vaccaro Jr., his niece, Lisa Vaccaro and 3 great nieces. Also surviving are several cousins.

James was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Thursday November 16, 2023, from 4pm-7pm at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.

Burial will be Friday November 17, 2023, 11am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
