Larry J Whitehill, Sr., 65, of Jamestown, NY passed away August 26, 2023 due to a long term illness at UPMC Hospital surrounded by his family and his long term significant other, Pamela Wheaton. He was born November 8, 1957 to Richard Whitehill, Sr. and Norma (Hall) Whitehill in Silvercreek, NY. Larry enlisted in the United States Army in the 1970s and received his diploma. Later, he went to college and earned his certification in electrical engineering and another in refrigeration mechanics.

Larry married Perscilla (Cote) Whitehill in 2004. He was employed for over 20 years by Ostrom Enterprises Inc. until his retirement in 2022 and prior he worked many years for Ryder Trucking and Basic Enterprises. He enjoyed spending time with his children, fishing, wrestling, and martial arts movies.

Larry is survived by his brother, Tom(Jennifer) Whitehill; his 5 children, Jennifer(Matthew) Belin, Larry Whitehill Jr., Jacqueline Delo, Tiffany(Randy) Woodmansee, Brittany Whitehill and a step-daughter, Elizabeth Sprague; 8 grandchildren, Joshua Erhard, Sydnee Williams, Paige Whitehill, Laura(Patrick) Wynn, William Delo Jr., Bryce Whitehill, Haillie Rowe, Xaviar Delo and multiple step-grandchildren and a chosen grandchild, MaryBeth Schroder; 5 great-grandchildren, Xander and Daxton Erhard, Noah Wynn, Zoey Delo and a little boy on the way. Also, several nieces, nephews, an ex-wife whom he remained close to, Teresa Rahr; 3 sisters in law; Leilani (Donald) Beaujean, Lisa (Bill) Schaub, Deletta Whitehill. Larry was preceded in death by his mother and father, 3 brothers; Richard Whitehill Jr., James Whitehill and his twin, Terry Whitehill. Also, his first wife; Laura L Young Whitehill.

The funeral will be held 3-5pm on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. Following the service, a gathering will be held at Knights of Enchanted Dreams from 5:30-7pm.
