Angelo S LoPresti Jr, 86 of Jamestown passed away January 3, 2021 at Autumn View health care facility, Hamburg, NY. He was born June 21, 1934 in Jamestown the son of Angelo and Josephine LoPresti.
After graduating Jamestown High School class of 1952, Angelo proudly served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1962. Upon his honorable discharge Angelo worked for the New York State Tax Department for 25 years retiring in 1997.
He was a member of the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, the American Legion Post #1 in Albany, Am Vets, Moose Club, and a social member of the Vikings.
Angelo was known for his Ballroom dancing ability. He earned several medals from The Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Angelo also traveled around the country competing in and winning several dance competitions. His hobbies included studying all religions and collecting books. He had a great love for family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
Angelo is survived by his sister, Emma LoPresti Berg of Jamestown.
Angelo is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Charles LoPresti, Vincent LoPresti, Bianca Michael, Josephine Coan, Mary Blanco, and Grace Ferraro.
Calling hours will be Friday January 8, 2021 from 10:30am-1pm at Hubert Funeral Home.
A mass of Christian burial will be Friday January 8, 2021 1:30pm at St. James RCC.
Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
