Chad Michael Whittington, 40, of Jamestown, New York, passed away on November 17, 2020, at UPMC Chautauqua. Chad was born November 1, 1980 in Jamestown to his parents, Nancy Grice-Whittington and the late Clayton Whittington.
Chad graduated from Jamestown High School. He worked as a mechanic as well as in retail management.
Chad was an adventurous outdoorsman that always sought a thrill. Hiking, camping, and kayaking were just a few of his favorite hobbies. He had a kind and gentle heart that adored all animals especially his late dog, Joey Boykin. Chad will be remembered for his charming smirk, funny and quick-witted personality, and his clever ideas.
Chad is survived by his daughter, Alaina Whittington, Mother, Nancy Grice-Whittington, Grandmother, Connie Grice, Sister, Lindsay (Ryan) Sadowski, a niece, Ava Laury, Sister, Lily (Matthew) Propheter, and a nephew to be.
Chad is preceded in death by his father, Clayton Whittington, Grandmother and Grandfather, Henrietta “Rusty“ and William Whittington, Uncle, David Whittington, and Grandfather, Stanley Grice.
Arrangements entrusted to Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
