Obituary of Robert J Boutelle

Robert J. “Bob” Boutelle, 58 passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital Pittsburgh, PA. Bob was born December 28, 1961 in Sacramento, CA to the late LeRoy “James” Boutelle and Lois (Stravato) McCreary of Bemus Point and Lake Park, FL. Bob had a happy soul; he took great pleasure in making those around him happy either with his beaming smile or telling jokes. He had an immense love for his family and friends. Most of all for his beloved Julie who was his best friend, soulmate, and partner for 28 years. Bob was a 1980 graduate of Jamestown High School where he excelled in sports and set records that still stand today. He participated in football, track, wrestling, and gymnastics. He enjoyed gardening, sharing his bounty with friends and neighbors., Nascar, camping, golfing, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors. One of his fondest memories was a fishing trip to Michigan with his uncle John. Bob had his own remodeling business while also working for other construction companies. There was not much he could not do. Most recently he was employed by Brigotta’s as a delivery driver which he enjoyed. He was a member of many clubs including the Jamestown Moose Lodge and War Vets. Bob is survived by his beloved Julie Liliestedt, his Mother, Lois and step father Bob McCreary, his sister, Paula (Chris) Picone of Henderson, NV, his brothers, James of NM and Thomas of Jamestown, NY, step sister, Pam VanArsdale and step brother, Troy (Gina) McCreary both of NC, his aunts, Myra Boutelle of FL and Kathie Stravato of Jamestown, NY, cousins, Cyndy Boutelle and John and Joseph Stravato, his nieces, Amber Boutelle and Cynthia Boutelle, his nephews, Dominic Boutelle and Anthony Picone, his godparents, Sonny and Delores Bonfiglio, and many great nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his Father in 2012, his uncles, Robert Boutelle in 1995 and John Stravato in 2019, his maternal grandparents, Louis and Pauline (Bonfiglio) Stravato, and his paternal grandparents, LeRoy and Carmela (Nibali) Boutelle. Arrangements entrusted to Hubert Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in spring or summer of 2021. To be announced when plans are finalized.
