Viola C. Ferraro, 100 of Jamestown passed away August 21, 2020 at Lutheran Home surrounded by her children. She was born December 16, 1919 in Barnesboro, PA the daughter of Antonio and Lucia Gellote.
Viola moved to Warren, PA at an early age and graduated from Warren High School. She married her husband Samuel J. Ferraro June 21, 1942. Shortly after being married they moved Jamestown, NY where she worked for Jamestown Vanier Plywood and Monitor Furniture. Viola was a communicant of ST. James Catholic Church.
Viola showed loving admiration and devotion to her husband and family. She enjoyed traveling, especially visiting her children and granddaughter who live in various locations across the United States. In her retirement Viola and Samuel wintered in Florida and Southern California. She was an excellent cook and baker. She is loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Viola is survived by children, James P. (Nancy J. Agliolo) Ferraro and Nancy Ferraro-Blatt, her granddaughter, Alicia (Bryan) Ferraro-Collins, her grandsons, William and Samuel Collins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viola is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Samuel J. Ferraro, her son in law, Paul Blatt, and all nine of her siblings.

Arrangements entrusted to Hubert Funeral Home.
