Santa Sadie Saldi, 92 of Jamestown passed away June 15, 2020 at Heritage Park Skilled Nursing and Rehab. She was born July 28, 1927 in Jamestown the daughter of Cologero Saldi and Verna Rizzo Saldi. After graduating High School Sadie went on to receive an Account Clerk Typist Civil Service Rating. Sadie worked for the Dept of Agriculture, Weber Knapp, and the Dept of the Aging. She was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church. Sadie was an independent person and unique in many ways. She hunted, drove a stick shift in to her 80’s, and had a distinctive and contagious laugh. She loved her animals. Sadie was a great cook and baker. Her specialties were Italian cookies, pizza and apple pie. Her home was always beautiful and spotless. Although she had no children of her own, Sadie always cared about and stayed in touch with family. We will miss and love her always. Sadie is survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Sadie is preceded in death by her Parents, her brothers, Frank Saldi, Michael Saldi, Russell Saldi, Joseph Saldi,, her sisters, Mary Allette, Della Pulci, Maragret Tripi, Sarah Munella, Joanne Bellardo, Josephine Von Volen, and her infant sister Jennie Saldi. A family service will be held Saturday June 20, 2020 from 10 am-12:30 pm at Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
