Obituary of Carl Eric Brown

Carl Eric Brown, 31 of Ashville NY passed away March 31, 2020 at his home. He was born January 11, 1989 in Kentucky the son of Harold Brown and June Klein Matherly. Carl will always be remembered as a loving caring man who worked hard and loved his family. Carl would help anyone in need. He lost his life to drug addiction. No more suffering or struggling, rest in peace my son you will not hurt anymore. Carl is survived by his children, Lacy Brown of Jamestown and Sophia Pullan both of Jamestown, his mother, June Matherly of Ashville, his siblings, Heather Brown of Jamestown and Jake Matherly of Jamestown, his grandmother, Elaine Jensen of Ashville, his step father, Joel (Linda) Matherly of Jamestown, and his uncles, Jerry (Barb) Klein of Ashville and Terry (Lisa) Barrett of Youngsville PA. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces, and nephews whom all loved Uncle Carl. Carl is preceded in death by his father, Harold “Farmer” Brown and his grandfathers, Edward Jensen Jr. and David Klein. Arrangements entrusted to Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Due to restrictions from the COVID-19 outbreak a memorial service will be held at a later date.
