Obituary of Zara Engman

Zara A. Engman, 76, of Jamestown passed away peacefully at UPMC Chautauqua surrounded by her family on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2019. Surviving are her children Bill (Jackie), Linda, Don, Joy (Kevin), Nona, Kris; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her fur baby, Mr. Gee. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda; her mother, Lou Ross; her father, Alfred Ross; two sisters: Yvonne and Ramona; a brother, Richard; and husband, Glenn Engman. She worked for 23 years for Jamestown Rental Properties as property manager. She was dedicated to helping people who suffered from mental health disorders. She was kind, caring, loving and had an open door for all to come and sit. Donations can be made in her honor to the Mental Health Association of Jamestown.
