It has been an amazing blessing to have Floyd as my grandfather. He always lived his life with a positive outlook and was known to say that often, “You have to have PMA - a positive mental attitude.” I’ve carried those words with me my entire life. He gave us so many lessons in life; insisted on respect; gave generously; loved with his whole heart; cherished family; and was always there for me whenever I needed him. There are so many wonderful memories - too many to count. I am still in awe of how strong he was for my brothers and I when my Dad (his only son) passed away. He promised he’d be there for us for 10 years and we got nearly 14 of them. I take comfort in knowing he is reunited with my Dad, along with his parents, and so many others.
