I am so grateful that I was able to get to know Bessie over the years. She was a very special and amazing human being. While I'm saddened by her loss, I know that she is at peace. She will be missed by many. Unfortunately, I'm not able to come into town for the services due to work. Please know that I am sending love.

Aunt Bessie was a kind and gentle person who we loved very much. She will be missed by all that knew her. She was special for her kindness to Sharon's father, Sam, throughout his life and especially after he was taken ill. We always looked forward to visiting her when in Jamestown and never left her house with an empty stomach and cookies to take home. Miss you Aunt Bessie!

Antoinette, Matt, Mary and family, I am so sad to hear of Bessie's passing. I am extending deep and heartfelt sympathy to you and your families. I have so many fond memories growing up with Bessie and Tony being apart of my/our lives, they were family! Bessie was thoughtful, loving, and very caring. They were great friends with my grandparents Carl and Sara. I miss the days of family get togethers and seeing everyone at my grandparents house in Falconer or at the lake house. You are all in my prayers.

I know one isn’t supposed to have favorites but Aunt Bessie was a favorite in my book. She always made me feel like I was special and that what I was involved in meant the world to her. Could that woman ever cook?! She knew her way around the kitchen better than anyone I ever knew! She was so gentle and caring with both my mother and father when they were ill and she always had a patient and guiding hand. I will forever miss her but cherish her memory and the lessons she taugh me.
